Day training- the shortcut to a well behaved dog

Repetition and consistency are the cornerstones of good training. But life frequently disrupts any training routine we try to establish. Day training can be the perfect solution – a guaranteed training session for your dog a few times a week. And the best part is that you, the human, don’t even have to be there.

Our day training program involves Girl Friday ACK working directly with the dog a few times a week. Sessions can be scheduled to fit in with any dog care needs you may already have so why not make the most of that time? It’s like timing a visit from your child’s French tutor while you attend that business Zoom call.

During each half hour session we’ll work with your dog on several behaviors that we’ll have agreed upon in our initial consultation together. We’ll teach the behaviors to your pup and then practice them with him/her in as many different situations as possible. Daily recordings and notes will be made available for you so that you can see what Fido has been working on and how you may continue to strengthen his knowledge.

An important part of the program is the two sessions we’ll have with you – to be sure you’re able to continue the work we’ve started. Just like us when we learn new skills, if Fido doesn’t use it, he’ll lose it!

Things we frequently cover in a day training session are basic manners, recall, polite walking, crate training, and behavior modification.

But don’t just take our word for it. You can see for yourself our extremely happy clients!
